SmartPark™️ FAQs

What is SmartPark™️?

SmartPark™ by Highwoods Properties is an automated parking garage system designed to improve convenience and efficiency with faster gate access. With SmartPark™, drivers seamlessly enter the garage using SmartTags, key cards that attach to the inside of your car windshield and automatically beam to an overhead sensor for immediate gate access. The process allows for payments and validations to be made entirely online.

How do I enroll?

Highwoods Properties Customer Service Representatives will provide training opportunities for the online account setup process. Once activated, a SmartTag will be sent to the account holder.

How do I use the SmartTag?

For optimal use, insert your SmartTag into the provided ID tag holder and attach it to the inside of your vehicle in any of the following locations: Lower driver's side windshield, Upper driver's side windshield, Behind the rear view mirror.

Is there anything I should do at the gate with SmartTag?

Come to a full stop and wait a brief moment for the SmartPark™ reader to verify your SmartTag. Proceed slowly once the gate fully opens.

What if I lose my SmartTag or would like to order an extra?

Contact Customer Service at (844) 727-5449.

What about guests who are not SmartPark™️ account holders?

Guests can have their tickets validated at the tenant’s discretion in their office or can pay with a credit card upon exit.
